About
Building teams that build experiences.
👋🏼 Hello, there! I’m Shannon. Over the past twenty years, I’ve worked solo, across small teams, and currently lead designers across both client projects and dedicated product teams. My teams have an absolute focus on bridging customer needs with the priorities and goals of each business to craft a balanced experience. By being a part of a wide range of team structures, I’ve learned how to hire well and how to grow and support a team as they take on greater responsibilities, expand their skills, and embrace an always-learning mindset. That matters more than ever as we design for new paradigms in an ever-evolving ecosystem. Staying deeply connected to the work and understanding how it gets done is key to leading a successful team and achieving great results.

The journey
All steps influence the next
Every step of my journey has been shaped by relentless curiosity and a deep commitment to understanding. I ask the questions that haven’t been asked—or revisit the ones left behind due to time, fatigue, or the pressure to deliver something. The work isn’t just about what’s in front of us, but about uncovering every angle, even when the challenge isn’t simple.
I believe every experience—breakthrough or setback—propels us forward in ways we don’t always expect. We’re all a work in progress, constantly learning, adapting, and making. The past informs who we are, but it’s what we do with those experiences that defines what comes next.
